About Us

We are a village playgroup that was founded by Parents in 1995 and has been established in the community for over 25 years. Through fundraising we are   exceptionally privileged to own our own building. We have close links to Rowley Lane School & other childcare providers within the Community.

Our Mission Statement

Rowley Lane Preschool offers a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for both children and their families.
We provide children with a happy, safe and nurturing environment in which children are valued as unique individuals, striving to be the best they can be, supported by caring, experienced educators.
We provide a stimulating learning environment where children are challenged to explore, take risks, and become confident learners. To enable this we observe the children, think about what we see and hear, then decide how or if we interact in that moment.

At Rowley Lane we Create, Explore, Imagine and Learn.

Special Educational Needs
The Local Offer

Picture
All children  are individual, as is their learning journey.  However some children may require  additional one to one support with a dedicated key worker, more so in the case of a child with Special Educational Needs.  We also offer support to families within the home and work in partnership with parents  and external agencies, for the benefit of the child.  During this partnership we are able to offer coping strategies in a number of areas and help work together, to further the child's progress  and incorporate an element of future planning, to increase the benefits of early educational learning.

We also work along side external agencies  such as  speech and language therapists, social and health workers, should extra support be required.  By providing additional support we aim to maximise  children's growth and success, making the early years a solid stepping stone into school life.
